"will pay anything to get Basim off"? Seems like an odd statement.
On a more tangental note, the Strib piece yesterday did note FBI confirmation
that when Ortega offered Mystic Lake vouchers to inspections staff, he was doing
so under FBI guidance. We know about that incident because when "Herrongate"
began last spring, inspections made their response (a decline and a warning)
public. I wonder if there were other offers that were not returned (so the
inspections brass would presumably be unaware)??
