WHAT:
Please join host Jim Niland for an evening of "Musical Celebration."
This is the one BIG party on behalf of Dean "Zimmerperson"
Zimmermann and Natalie Johnson-Lee before they take office next week.
WHERE:
Lee's Liquor Lounge
101 Glenwood Ave N. (just west of Downtown)
*Must be 21 years old
Cover charge of $8 after 8:30pm
WHEN:
7:00pm Nicole Darcy
8:00pm Andrew "Cadillac" Kolstad (of Stockcar Named Desire)
9:00pm Wain McFarlane and Jahz ('til close)
WHY:
This event is to retire the campaign debts of Green Party City Council
Members-Elect Dean Zimmermann (Ward 6) and Natalie Johnson
Lee (Ward 5) as well as to have a great time listening, dancing, and
discussing -- politics, of course :-)
*Come just to check out the fantastic picture magnets of the
Zimmerperson.
Created by the one and only Tom Taylor, these will not last long --
one local
politico has already bought almost $30!
[While I would not under ordinary circumstances post such an
announcement on the Mpls Issues list, I chose to make an exception in
this case because of some confusion that has arisen based on the
misleading plug in The Pulse and a few other publications where one
might think that this event is happening on Monday, Dec. 31st, New
Year's Eve, which it is not.]
