Once again I have to say, "This argument does not address the possibility
that early elections may be more advantageous for the DFL than for the Greens."

And, I must have missed it, could you please quote some of Mr. Melendez's
statements in opposition to Ms. Khan's bill?

And, the DFL does not have to be a monolithic block to manipulate the
election codes in their favor. It just requires a cabal with power.
We've seen that a committee can endorse candidates without approval
from the party membership, why couldn't they take other actions to support the
election of their candidates? After all, the function of a political party is
to advance their agendas and elect their candidates. Whether they do so
in an ethical and fair process is another issue altogether.

I was not referring to chads, I was referring to the legal wrangling that
occurred in the aftermath. That's what we're talking about legal and
legislative tactics.

In your opinion. So let's discuss who stands to benefit more from early
elections.

The DFL leadership just doesn't seem to get it. People are getting
sick and tired of politics as usual, and they're voicing their disgust
with their votes. It's time to wake up guys. We're not as stupid
as you think. Good, bye Campbell, good bye Cherryhomes; the
two seats that you should have had a lock on. Now you want
a second chance after the game is over and you lost. I don't think
so, and I believe that many other residents of Minneapolis would
agree with me. Fair is fair. Besides you still have a majority, what's
the problem?
