[TB]  I find it difficult to except that the differences are merely
interesting or to simply dismiss any cost differences.

The reasons for the differences should be quantifiable.  Some may have
acceptable explanations, say costs associated with cleanup of brown fields.
Cost per sq ft is just that regardless is the square feet are 1 or 5 bedroom
units, commercial or whatever.  If we are paying $187 per sq foot for what
normally costs $100 per sq foot, I haven't seen a reason why.  All I've seen
is general dismissal saying "that's the way it is."

If our costs are higher than standard, I'd rather see an explanation than a
cover-up.
