I posed these questions to a neighbor of mine that supports the Lydia House proposal on the Whittier e-group.  I would like to pose these same questions to anyone that cares to answer on this e-group especially those supporting the proposal.  Council members???

I would like to know what you think of this idea of "hyper-concentration" that has been mentioned many times on Mpls Issues?

Could a neighborhood such as Whittier ever have too
much of this type of housing or too many treatment facilities? (i.e. chemical dependency)

If so, what would be the limit?

If you think there should be a limit, why?

What negative consequences can too many of these facilities and or types of housing have on a neighborhood?
Why in your opinion do the three neighborhoods of Phillips, Stevens Square, and Whittier seem so attractive to organizations operating such facilities?

Thank you in advance for your response.
