People should be aware that the Minnesota House of Representatives is preparing to pass a state version of the Patriot Act. Like the Federal law, this is being passed without a real debate and is completely under the radar of the establishment media (but then, what else is new?) The authors are Tuma and Stanek and the Civil Law committee of the house will be having some sort of hearing on it Monday Feb. 4th at 10:15 am. The bill number is HF2746 and more information may be obtained at http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us./ Let's not allow them to sneak this repressive legislation past us like the feds did!
On a completely different topic, I want to take issue with the person who posted a letter telling us not to stray off the topic of Minnesota while discussing crows. I just love these stories and don't care where they come from.
