David is probably right on the $25,000 from NRP funds. His being a long time
member of the neighborhood group gives him the advantage of that knowledge
over me because at the time I was not active with the neighborhood group. I
do know that these funds are from a facade grant program.


David Piehl adds:

In a previous post, I pointed out that Mr. Metoyer was on the CNIA board at the
time this funding was made available to Basim Sabri.

In one of many supportive off-list comments that I received, I was reminded that
not only was Zack Metoyer on the board, he was chair of the Business Development
committee at the time, which is the committee that controlled these funds.

Interesting, isn't it?
