Certainly some of the issues with Central fall into this catagory -- along
with NRP taking a hands off approach when they get lots of complaints from
people in the neighborhood about the current state of CNIA.  The NRP has
also done nothing to help prevent fiascos in annual meeting elections at
CNIA.

No wonder.  Who wants to volunteer to be involved in something like this.
Is there a way to bring together neighborhood residents to work to
accomplish common goals that doesn't involve managing paid staff, or
endless accounting.  It seems that if NRP would act as a fiscal agent in
these scenarios, it would make a lot of sense.

Pam, you said it well.  I hope the powers that be -- the NRP and the City
Council members are listening.
