I have to concur that the Weisman Art Museum is a spectacular building. It's almost a living thing with all those angles changing its appearance as the light changes. But the best thing about it is the lovely spaces inside. How did he do that?
I'll withhold judgement on the Guthrie's new design because I'm not very good at looking at a picture (in the Strib) and getting a feeling for what the finished product will present. I do share the concern that it doesn't look very pedestrian friendly, though.
