I did apply to the Redistricting Commission and there were at least 5 other women who interviewed in the same group as me. There had to been more women who also interviewed.
What concerns me more then the number of women on the Commission is the number of wards that are represented. Ward 11 and 13 are *very well* represented, but what about wards 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 12? Some of these wards have had large shifts in population. Why are they *not* at the table?
