I am one of those who had known Richard Rose. I have been on campaigns both with and against Richard. I found him to be a true gentleman. He never spoke ill of another person. While he was a hard-driven campaign worker and manager, he didn't seem to take anything personally.
Richard was civic-minded. Unlike some with good intentions, Richard acted on his convictions. I don't know how he made time for everything he did for Minneapolis. His life is a worthy example to follow. I am grateful for having known Richard. I will miss his advice and friendship.
