It was interesting to hear that Mr. Duffy, the attorney who had been investigating the Brian Herron matter, had some recommendations for avoiding such incidents in the future. One of them was that the City Council should have a constituent complaint office. I remember writing a post to this group some time ago advocating that type of set-up to reduce the work load of City Council Members and ultimately the number of City Council Members. I hope the idea will get a thorough airing.
