David Brauer reports in his Skyway News article about the proposed Hennepin County stadium taxes that "a city-wide half-percent lodging tax would produce $8 million."
Does the city get any say in whether this tax is imposed only within the city? Is this $8 million subtracted from the city's "$10 million contribution"? If not, where does the city get the $10 million?
