Not that I don't like blizzards of the DQ kind, but if you want a great cold taste check out Caruso's Gelato in Calhoun Square for genuine home-made Italian gelato in many flavors. My favorite is tiramisu, but peanut and dark chocolate are wildly popular. Caruso's is owned by Minneapolis residents and, I understand, was in the running for the parks contract. (Hope the proposed downtown stadium food tax has a dessert exemption.)
