CUT FUNDING FOR SOURCE REDUCTION & RECYCLING

Subject: CUT FUNDING FOR SOURCE REDUCTION & RECYCLING

ATTENTION:
There is a budget cut from the House, that is being strongly proposed that
would cut $10 million (of approximately 14 million) in funds that go to
local governments for source reduction and recycling (SCORE FUNDS).

It would basically abolish this funding. These are funds that must be used
on source reduction and recycling - the state auditor's recent report
regarded this program as being very successful.

We need to call and email TODAY our representatives and senators but
especially
REP. SVIGGUM (651-296-2273 or [EMAIL PROTECTED])

Rep. Sviggum announced yesterday that we would accept calls, emails and
visits from RESIDENTS of Minnesota (Not lobbyists) on this proposed cut.
Call your friends and family and have them send an email too.

It is important to clearly state that you
"SUPPORT RECYCLING - OPPOSE SCORE FUNDING BUDGET CUTS"

Please call now!
