Council Member Lilligren recently moved a house that was scheduled for
demolition to make way for "Portland Place" in Phillips.  This happened
about two years ago, I believe.  I'm sure he can offer some guidance.

In fact, I think the nightmare of red tape, non-answers, and delays that
came out of some city agencies was one of the reasons Mr. Lilligren
realized that the city bears some responsibility for the housing shortage.
The city has created an atmosphere that de-facto discourages private sector
investment in housing.

Neal - I have no list, but I'm pretty sure Lyndale Neighborhood
Development Corp., which is figuring out how to move our two houses, is
tied up at the moment!

The other group that came forward is People Serving People. They were
very professional and experienced and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend
them.

I'm sure there are others.

That would REALLY be Project for Pride in Living. They were the
experienced, professional ones. Sorry about that.
