Public hearing scheduled for March 25 at 7 p.m.

"The Library Board will hold a public hearing to take
comments before making a final decision on the
proposal to build a new library at the corner of East
38th Street and 23rd Avenue South. The Roosevelt
Community Advisory Team recommends this option, and
the response from the community to date has been
positive. The hearing will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday,
March 25, at Roosevelt Library, 4026 28th Avenue
South."

The advisory committee also recommends that the
library board partner with the MCDA to build a mixed
use development on that site that would include
housing and some mix of commercial and retail uses.
