++++4-million for 21 units = 190,000 per unit.

Jana Metge wrote - this is not completely accurate. Jeremiah is projecting
a project which not only includes an addition of 21 housing units, but an
increase in the size of their childcare center. With this expansion, the
center will have the capacity for 62 children versus the 28 they can
presently have. If you are familiar with licensed childcare facilities,
they need to meet several codes including small toilets, sinks, etc.

This program is for single woman with children under 4 who are pursuing post
high school training. The childcare is available from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. for moms either at a job or at school. Additionally, there are support
services and life-skill training available for the families.

Another component of the development is additional parking and landscaping.

This proposal also received $400,000 of Empowerment Zone money. This is one
of the best supportive housing facilities I have ever seen. If folks are
not familiar with Jeremiah, call and set up a tour with Gloria Perez-Jordan.
It is a great model.

Anyway, we estimate it is approximately a $120 square foot cost.
