I WOULD HAVE PAID $10,000-$20,000 PER LOT. THAT IS 2-4.2 MILLION YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN. YOUR STATE AID CUT IS 15 MILLION. YOU WOULD ONLY BE OUT 11 MILLION BY NOW. SOME OF THOSE LOTS WOULD HAVE SOLD FOR A WHOLE LOT MORE. WHY DO YOU ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN? It is not an exaggeration to say that the city may have fumbled away over a billion (1,000,000,000) in the past 10 years in this kind of thinking. We could have a teacher for every 5 kids if we just wised up.
