How Revealing! The consultant/lobbyist is not even
familiar enough with Urban Ventures to know who the
executive director is!! Lobbyists can be such slick
sales people - anything for a buck I guess. Again,
this is consistent with the pattern of Urban Ventures
"supporters" all having a direct financial interest in
their success; not a very compelling argument for
public funding.

What excuse did they offer for preaching Jesus to
Jewish children (Jane Straus' children) at a
neighborhood funded summer program that was not
supposed to have religious content?

The attack pattern is also revealing - tells me she's
less interested in neighborhood input and more
interested in economic imperialism.

I think it's also revealing of their true nature to
understand that when anyone has opposed Urban
Ventures' projects at the city level, they try to
intimidate that person by threatening their job.
That's exactly what Ralph Bruins did after the
neighborhood found out "prematurely" about the Motel
that Urban Ventures was proposing jointly with Basim
Sabri. Ralph called Mayor Belton to complain about
"non-supportive" actions by one of her staff - isn't
that a riot? Disseminating factual information about
a project proposal is "non-supportive"?? They've also
pulled the same stunt with private individuals. I
really don't think Jesus told them to do it, either.

Has anyone contacted Colin Powell?
