Another list is the Twin Cities Wireless User Group (TCWUG). You can learn
about it at http://www.tcwug.org/. It currently is a low-volume list that
tends more towards the technical aspect of wireless connectivity.

To steer my posting back towards Minneapolis, I am interested in becoming
a wireless access point for those in my neighborhood (Hawthorne) who might
not want to pay for Internet access, but I have been getting hung up on
how to secure my network and how to prevent my access point from becoming
an access point for abuse. I have to be careful because if any spam comes
from my connection, my ISP, Visi.com, says they will shut me down.
