I realize the big whee today is redistricting issues but the sun is
hanging ten in a clear blue sky, there are kestrals flying loops around my
downtown apartment (sun must have them confused too) and I'd rather stick to
non-wonk areas.
I didn't receive any cooperation from Ma Nature yesterday with no wind
whatsoever so I concede my loss in the Great Calhoun Ice Out derby. I think
though that it started too late with too little orginazation. Lets get
started earlier next year with maybe a pool that might result in a small
Spring party.
I also really like the small town idea of placing an object on the ice to
determine the exact date and time. Something like a junked out car or some
other such eviscerated hulk.
