Alan Arthur is not making good faith efforts to include peace house. He
promised
Sister Rose Tillman (Founder and day to day manager of Peace House) that he
would get back to her by March 1st 2002 on a new location for her awesome
place. It is now the middle of April and their is no response from CCHT.

Other scuttlebut is that CCHT's discussions/negotiations with the DQ are
breaking down.

I find it real intersting that "developers said they would not resort to
eminent domain....."

Developers don't have eminent domain rights, government does. Non-Profits
are starting to throw their muscle around on these types of property issues.
It is time for the council to reign in these non-profits. Or else they are
going to throw out a Catholic Nun who is doing charitable work. For shame!

Opinion: CCHT is like a baseball owner. You have to say no to these people
and keep saying it. They will not go away. They are going to keep reaching
into the cookie jar until you pound that hand.
