Help! The Kingfield Neighborhood Association is having its annual meeting next Monday, April 22. We hold our board elections, and usually use the League of Women Voters to count ballots and assure we are not acting in the manner of a neighborhood banana republic.
This year, one of our idiot volunteers (well, ok, it was me) forgot to call the League to get 2 volunteers. They can't do it, which is understandable given the shoddy notice. But we still need neutral non-neighborhood people to help us out. We need two folks, for a couple of hours, 7-9 p.m., at the King Park Center, 41st and Nicollet. I can't promise you much except my gratitude, the best leftovers from our pre-meeting pot luck (if you want firsts, come between 5:30 and 7!) and the chance to see a really, really well-run neighborhood meeting. If you can help, please reply off list. Thanks everyone. David Brauer President, King Field Neighborhood Assn.
