MOXIE HAIR RAISING EVENT & LYN-LAKE ART CRAWL 
SUNDAY, APRIL 28,2002 
NOON TO 6:00 P.M. 

Minneapolis, MN �Moxie Hair Salon and Art Gallery and
the LYN-Lake neighborhood are pround to announce the
MOXIE HAIR RAISING EVENT &LYN-LAKE ART CRAWL.  Moxie
Hair Salonand Art Gallery is organizing their 2nd
semi-annual Hair RaisingEvent.  Part haircutting
marathon, partperformance art, stylists from Moxie
will cut and style hair in the salon andparticipationg
galleries for the duration of the event.  All proceeds
will be donated to non-profitgroups in the Lyn-Lake
area.  This eventwas started by Moxie Hair Salon as a
way to promote the growing arts communitywithin the
neighborhood, both by bringing more visitors to the
neighborhood andby fundraising for the neighborhood
non-profit galleries.  This community art event
features the workof local artist at a variety of
locations on or near Lake & Lyndale,including SOO
Visual Arts Center, Moxie Art Gallery, Intermedia
Arts, pArtsGallery, Opening Nights, Lava Lounge, Cafe
Caffetto, and the individual artists' studios for the
Calhoun Arts Building.  Lyn-Lake is fast becoming one
of the Twin Cities hottest culturaldestinations.  Join
us with food, drink and other specials by the area
businesses as we celebrate the arts of our
neighborhood.
