Moxie Hair Salonand Art Gallery is organizing their 2nd semi-annual Hair RaisingEvent. Part haircutting marathon, partperformance art, stylists from Moxie will cut and style hair in the salon andparticipationg galleries for the duration of the event. All proceeds will be donated to non-profitgroups in the Lyn-Lake area. This eventwas started by Moxie Hair Salon as a way to promote the growing arts communitywithin the neighborhood, both by bringing more visitors to the neighborhood andby fundraising for the neighborhood non-profit galleries.
