If you'll hit http://www.startribune.com/stories/563/2249607.html and scroll half way down, you'll see an editorial headed "Southeast slumlords".
The writer is a fellow member of University Lutheran Church of Hope, a lifelong SE resident of some 80+ summers, a long time community booster, and a well balanced, sensible woman of intelligence. I believe Millie Casperson was a school teacher, but I'm not positive. I do know she was important to the original Marcy Open School program and remains as active a community member as she can be. If I was the council person of the 2nd ward, and saw that letter in the paper and then referenced on this list, I'd be very careful to answer Millie 1) in a personal letter and 2) in an open letter to the S'Trib, and 3) on this forum. If not, why not.
