Hello everyone, Just wanted to let this group know about the follow-up Silent Sports Meeting which will be help on May 13th (next Monday) at 6:30 pm at the Theodore Wirth Chalet in Theodore Wirth Park. This group formed out of discussions on this forum!
The first meeting was a clear success. We had over 70 folks with some great ideas and many more who sent e-mails! Over 40 of you volunteer to participate in follow up meetings. We will break into the following groups: 1) Citywide/Regional Cross country ski race 2) Identifying prospective ski trails 3) Identifying prospective off-road bike trails 4) Funding issues We will rotate to give folks a chance to participate in a second group and wrap things up by 8:00 pm. Feel free to invite anyone who may be interested in participating.
