What a great story! What happened to the affordable
housing crisis? That would have made a great place for
a large low-income family. Guess it's in the wrong
 neighborhood though huh?

"Hennepin County rehabs and auctions off a tax forfeited, classic
Parkway/creek bungalow for $320,000, and nets a substantial profit." I agree
with Barb, we should provide a poor family a $300,000 home near the creek. We
should pay their rent, too. I also believe they should drive a newer Camry.
What ever they want in furniture, we should buy them. Medical covered, food
stamps, I hope so. Is there any thing I forgot? Give it to them! And there
are a thousand thousand more from whence they came. I want them all on a
parkway or a creek. WOW! I feel soooo good.

By the way, a very interesting housing question presents itself here. How did
someone, a person, bank or corporation, happen to walk away from a
dilapidated but substantial property in a great location for $22,000 in back
taxes? Why? Is there a story here?
