I did not have a chance to attend the Cinco De Mayo celebrations on Lake street this past Sunday as I was at May Day, but wanted to know what the general impressions of the Ortega v.s. Sabri festivities were. Was one better than the other or did it still retain the feel of one continuous event. Also, I heard there was a violent outbreak between rival gangs at the celebration. Don't know if this is true or not. Either way, hope the festivities were fun for all.
