I thought people might want to see these pics because I enjoy the parade so
much every year - doesn't everyone?

For those of you who don't know, the Minneapolis May Day Parade and Festival
is a 28 years running celebration of Spring and the Workers("the People")
Rights Struggle - that's right Beltane and the International Worker's
Holiday all in one. It is the big get-together for the Progressive community
in Minnesota and anyone that enjoys a colorful parade. And it happens in my
neighborhood - Powderhorn Park! It is a community production. What you can't
tell from these pictures is the size of the event, both the number of
participants and the spectators (~50,000).

It's just pure fun.
