Actually, being a reel mower affectionado, the place that most hardware stores ship the reel mowers that you bring in is Kliers Nursery & Garden Center Inc at 5901 Nicollet Ave. They have the special machine to sharpen the blades. Also they have some folks there with an amazing amount of knowledge on reel mowers if you are buying a new one. Or you can usually pick them up at garage sales for cheap and take them to Kliers where they will do a tune-up and sharpening and teach you how to use them. Reel mowers need sharpening more frequently than power mowers so it is good to know where to bring them.
