Here is a link to a revealing City Pages article about the Shingle Creek Water Management Organization , WMO's in general, and Watershed Districts. In case you are not aware, Minneapolis has one watershed district -- Minnehaha Creek and 3 water management organizations (WMO'S) -- Bassett Creek, Shingle Creek, and Middle Mississippi. All Minneapolis residents live in one of the above.
