I think it's odd that he chose Peter McLaughlin to be one of his co-chairs. Lately McLaughlin has been the kiss of death for candidates. He co-chaired SSB's pathetic campaign. He also was personally knocking on doors for Vicki Brock.
I've been trying to call McLaughlin's office to find out why he helped Art Erickson get a $500,000 loan from the County for Urban Ventures -- and his office still hasn't called me back on that one. Jesse Ventura should be thanked for vetoing the Colin Powell Youth Center (another Art Erickson boondoggle). I didn't appreciate some of Jesse's vetoes of good University of Minnesota Projects and the Planetarium. I can't argue with him too much about the Guthrie as I've said before.
