In today's Strib:

Blumenshine said that she was angry that residents had placed several dozen
calls to police, but that the problems with the kids didn't seem to end.
She also said calls to City Council Member Robert Lilligren and a
neighborhood office that offers social services for Hennepin County weren't
returned.  ....

Lilligren was aware of Milton's death, but said he didn't receive any calls
about the 13 year old.

=============================
When I was knocking on doors on the block looking for my lost cat (he's
back now), several neighbors commented on how Robert Lilligren never
returns calls. This is a major problem. Robert ran on constituent
service. He returned calls while he was running -- and he had no staff
then. Now he and his office don't return calls or emails.

I've heard some talk about trying to recall Robert (gotten from two
unrelated sources). I haven't heard of city council recall races here in
Minneapolis.
