I agree that Robert's constituent service could be
better, but I do think it is beginning to improve.

Robert has been incredibly busy with his council
duties, so as with all council members, the consituent
service responsibilities fall heavily on the aide, in
this case Andrea.

The eighth ward is a difficult ward to manage, so
maybe Robert needs to investigate the possibility of
additional help for Andrea - I know they did just get
an intern, that's a start, but maybe we need more.

I'm not giving up on Robert Lilligren just for slow
constituent service - his positions on important
issues such as affordable housing, Lake Street
development, freeway access, etc are way more valuable
in the long run than the highly desirable returned
call. I do hope they improve constituent service,
though - I've always believed that Vernon Wetternach's
amazing constituent service abilities were a primary
contributor to Sharon Sayles Belton's popularity in
the ward.
