Given recent posts to the list on education, including references to drop
out rates, test scores, inexperienced teachers and suspension rates, I found
this Opinion piece in today's New York Times interesting:
My Brief Teaching Career, by Natalia Mehlman

Anyone with similar experiences to share locally?

Out of curiosity, what is the process/requirements for degreed professionals
to get licensed to teach in elementary/secondary public schools in
Minneapolis/MN? i.e. to teach math, science, English, literature, etc.
