I hope that the people planning for possible replacement ideas for the dome will work closely with the people in the Elliot Park neighborhood. This neighborhood has been greatly affected by the "marshmallow" building. The amount of land that was developed into surface parking to accomodate this structure represents close to 25% of the Elliot Park neighborhood. Not an insignificant impact. The livability issues this has created have also been significant.
The neighborhood used NRP funds to hire a planning architect to assist them in completing a Master Land Use Development Plan for the entire Elliot Park neighborhood. That process is close to being finished. I would like to believe these efforts would be incorporated into any plans for replacing the dome. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." -- Margaret Mead __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
