The City is a heat sink. Every piece of concrete or asphalt that is exposed
to the sun will help heat up the city. Every tree that can shade the same
will help keep the air in the City cooler. Also, concrete and asphalt slabs
keep rainwater from soaking into the earth, but instead tend to fill up our
already over used storm sewers, thus making flooding more frequent.

Education is the only real answer.
