To all
list members who have stood in the voting booth and struggled with voting decisions as they move their
pen all the way down the ballot:
Southwest Citizens for Civic Engagement, a
newly formed group of neighbors, is sponsoring a
non-partisan effort to help voters become better informed about local politics and become more confident as they vote in local elections.
The effort, called "Getting to the Bottom
of the Ballot," will be sponsoring and
promoting two candidate forums prior to this fall's
elections. We are requesting help from Southwest neighborhood residents to promote
the effort and help with
the forums. If you want
more information about getting involved, just reply to this email ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
