I also attended this event and agree with Niel's post. It was a pleasure to see the house and learn about the history of our parks. I too, hope that the park board realizes the importance of working with the Parks Legacy Society. Congratulations to all who did a lot of work to make this event happen. I certainly hope that if there is any lease renewal with the current tenant (not something that I encourage), that said lease includes language about working with this group, so that we, as taxpayers, can have access to this historical house.
