MPCA indicates that our city lakes "stressor" is, Excess Nutrients!  With all the
hot weather and summer activities around our lakes, what does this mean for our favorite Minneapolis swimming hole?

Minneapolis city lakes appear to be new to list.  Which after reading the Strib article and overview on the MPCA will make it more "real" for readers.   Notice that our affected use column remarks "swimming" and the pollutant or stressor is "Excess Nutrients" in our Urban Lakes un the Upper Mississippi section of the table.  More details contained on MPCA.

Can the city of Minneapolis, county, environmental groups, and MCWD offer their comments please on these results and a discuss proposed action plan? What should citizen do to help remedy these matters? 

According to the overview in on the MPCA documents and Tom's article, is hard to be removed from these list once you are on the list and radar.

Looks like we all have some work to do, Minneapolis (MN) which always begins with more education for the public.  Help!
