Does anyone know if there is any talk about creating the position of City Manager anywhere in the current governace structure? If we are the only city in the entire country that McKinsey found with a weak mayor-strong council WITHOUT a City Manager maybe we should take a look at other cities comparable in budget and population and see what might be gained by creating this position here. I find it hard to believe that Minneapolis is the only city that's "got it right" by operating without this position. Barbara Nelson once and future Minneapolitan currently living in Burnsville
