I don't want to wait three years until the next election for my park commissioner, Bob Fine, to hear from the people in Park District #6 about whether they are happy with his recent job performance.  I would like to give Bob some feedback now - not just from the handful of list members who responded in opposition to a potential park board override.  I would like Bob to hear from District #6 residents on this list - a simple yes or no response to whether you agree with Bob Fine's decision to override the veto.  Email me off-list and I will track all responses and forward them to Bob, pro or con.  Consider this an opportunity to send Bob Fine a mid-term performance review.

"YES" if you agree with the override; "NO" if you do not.

Congratulations to Vivian and John for doing the right thing.  A 7-2 vote indicates to me that the seven certainly haven't been listening to the citizens.  Can't wait for the next election!  My Commissioner was one voting yes.  I have always had a lot of respect for Bob, but this vote means I cannot vote for him the next time - should he decide to run.
