I'm guessing as editor who is paid (or volunteers) to make choices, Mr. Whebbe has his own rules about what he does and doesn't publish - just like this forum does. As to the Watchdog, I just read my first copy over lunch the other day (issue 3, I think). Is it a successor to the newspaper put out by the Property Rights Action Committee, or is that paper still around? As I'm willing to get my news from many sources, I eagerly looked for some interesting, attributed facts I hadn't read elsewhere. There was certainly a lot of opinion (it's a good alternative if you don't like civility) but I didn't see much reporting within. I hope the Watchdog undergirds its proud incivility with some traditional reporting - this town can always use more of that.
