Ditto Jim! Your observation on urban angling is plug in the spot. But you fail to mention Lake Calhoun with its monstrous Muskies and hybrids! Who with there patrolling have created a great Large Mouth(LARGE) bass population. In the right conditions (NOW) the bruisers cruise the stone walls and attack minnow lures with vengeance. Shore fishing at it's best! And what a better way to be neighborly than to hold up an arm length sow and gently release it in front of the disbelieving eyes of native born MNs who never knew that here just outside their front door dwell these monsters of the fin world. No need to travel north to find the trophy of the lake. Please catch and release only, they can only get bigger!
