Bob Velez asked if there's a monetary link between the Metropolitan Council and the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission.
Not a cent of the Metropolitan Council's levy goes to the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission. The MSFC is self-sufficient, supported by fees charged to teams and users of its facilities. However, the Metropolitan Council does review the capital and operating budgets of the MSFC.
