MM: I am shocked that a person with a leadership role in Minneapolis, who has financial responsibility for how a portion of public funding is spent, would make this statement. Annie Young suggests that the financial situation in Minneapolis is just a bump in an otherwise stable financial road. The truth that the park board appears to not want to face is that what we are feeling is not a bump in the road, but the first signs of a road that is in need of reconstruction.
