The general sentiment of this thread is that dogs reflect their owner's temperament, and the breed of a dog isn't a causal factor in their behavior. The logical solution, in my mind, is to hold dog owners responsible for the behavior of their pets. Why not charge the owner with assault if their dog attacks someone?
