What made me puzzled in this story is why this whole gang of U athletes was down there. Is this the NEXT chapter in the sorry history of the U athletic program? Sure, it may not be against NCAA rules, but the coach certainly doesnt encourage cruising bars in the warehouse district, does he? I hope to Heaven he gave the football players a speech on the reasons to stay aware from there. I mean, there have been gun fights on Hennepin Avenue, so why should the Warehouse district be any better? Why not just get a beer in Dinkytown?
