I know little about this incident, other than what you've conveyed. >From your description it would sound like they had some renegade justice in mind. I would consider that extremely unwise under the best of circumstances. They could have called the police when they spotted these youth....who doesn't have a cellular phone these days? The police were even close by, according to what you said. People that are looking for trouble generally find it. I doubt that your foreign guests would be bothered...especially if they avoided the late-hour nightclub scene. I'm far from condoning pistol-packing criminals, but I rarely see anyone questioning the victim's judgement in these situations. I've lived in the Warehouse district for about six months now and it has been a quiet and pleasant place. The Mississippi mile is beautiful and the cafe's and restaurants are unique and fun. -Michael Lomker, North Loop _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A Civil City Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
